As future Reading Specialists, we must be leaders in the fight to help struggling readers become better readers, so that in the end we are all winners!!
This just reminds me of all that I've been reading about how reading specialists also have to be leaders in their school settings. And as a leader, then we do have responsibility to appreciate the importance of our roles so that we can help all students be winners.
ReplyDeleteYup, I hope the community (other teachers, parents, other stakeholders) can realize how vital properly trained Reading Specialists are to the advancement of literacy. Also I hope the community would then wholeheartedly buy into reading initiatives as led by Reading Professionals.
